Marketing With Minden exists to help you on your entrepreneurial journey. Learn more about our mission, values, our story, and who we serve. Grab a good glass of lemonade and enjoy as you learn more about us.

All About Our Values
Values come from who we are as people, how we were raised, the people we surround ourselves with, and the values and standards of behavior that are important to us. As a result values for a company can be very personal, but we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Responsibility
One of Minden’s grandfathers sayings was “save some for the next guy”. It probably meant a lot of different things given how large her family gatherings were. But he was also a conservationist, big on reusing, repurposing, and recycling anything he could. He had pride in his work and expected responsible hard working people in return. Responsibility might sound like an odd value for a company but it’s how we apply it that’s important. We won’t make excuses, we’ll always take great responsibility and accountability for the work you’ve tasked us with.
Perseverance and Drive
“I know I drove my parents nuts with how independent I was. I just didn’t like to hear no, and kept pushing for what I wanted,” says our founder Minden Fox. That’s carried over to our professional services taking on ideas, opportunities, and tasks that seem a little too big at times. But that confidence and drive have taken us to many amazing places, and created a lot of opportunities to students, entrepreneurs, and you. We’re picky about the team and partners that we’ll work with. We’re looking for these same entrepreneurial qualities and mindset listed in our values so that you get the best experience possible with the MWM team and anyone we refer you to.
Honesty and Trust
This goes right along with the responsibility value above. Another saying from Minden’s beloved grandfathers was “be a good person”. There are way too many companies that use ethical behavior in their values, but then don’t follow through. We like honesty and trust better as specific ethical behaviors that we know we can deliver on. There are no bullies here. When we say you can rely on us, we mean it. We’ll be honest about what we can and can’t do. We’ll even refer you to someone else that can help you in a specific area if we can’t. No one benefits from being mean or deceitful.
Innovation and Creativity
We’ll use everything we have to do our best work. This is a team that loves to push the boundaries to give you options. We don’t shy away from new tools or trends like AI. We stay current through industry certifications, conferences, webinars, experimentation, and a lot of reading. We like to mix the tried and true basics with the latest and greatest. We love Design Thinking, Ideation, and getting into the fine details of a project. Lemons Perfected.
Our Story
Like a typical “about us” page there’s a good story or two here. Minden grew up around entrepreneurs. It wasn’t just a mindset, it was a way of life with several family members stretching their innovative and creative muscles on a daily basis. Both of her Grandfathers were successful entrepreneurs bringing innovative new ideas to their industries. That inspired both of her parents to explore side hustles, along with every one of her aunts, uncles, and several cousins.
This upbringing is where many of our values come from and our promise to you. But the story doesn’t stop here either. Minden was one of those kids that just couldn’t take no for an answer, and always did things her own way. She’s heard it many times but always laughs when people comment on ‘I like how your brain works’. She doesn’t know where it comes from, but it just naturally happens. “I can see things others just don’t. What seems obvious to me, is hidden to others until I share that vision or idea.”
“I remember watching my grandfather making the window posters for his store with an overhead projector, butcher paper, and paint markers many times when I was young. I remember thinking I want to do that. It’s not quite the same as that back storeroom, with shirt sleeves rolled up, but it feels pretty amazing to know I’ve helped so many people with their business dreams.”

All About the Business Years
After an enlistment with the US Navy as an aviation electronics technician our founder completed several degrees in Marketing while working for a few quickly growing startups. Minden has worked for several startups, a publicly traded Silicon Valley tech company, and top 100 Internet Retailer, and a Fortune 100 company.
Four acquisitions later the startup world was starting to lose it’s luster. The experience was all there with a long list of successful product launches, beta projects, expanded services, and unprecedented growth, but it was time to do something different. During this time Minden had also started consulting with local small businesses on the side and grew her first blog to several thousand followers.
All About the Teaching Years
From here she switched career paths teaching marketing and entrepreneurship at a local Community College. Her revamped entrepreneurship program registrations grew over 200% in the first three years helping dozens of students and community members launch and grow their business ideas. As the program grew several community partners and programs connected to develop more opportunities.
Minden co-founded the Southeast Wyoming Innovation Launchpad with several amazing like-minded entrepreneurs and helped launch another 20+ regional businesses in Southeastern, WY with over $130K in funding awarded. She then partnered with the National Association of Community College Entrepreneurship for a few projects and awards; Entrepreneurial College of the Future, the Radcliffe Pitch for the Trades Award, and the Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund launching additional student entrepreneur businesses.
There was still work to be done, so Minden assisted with research and writing of several grants to expand makerspaces, manufacturing centers, and an innovation center in the region to help even more entrepreneurs launch, grow, and develop their ideas.
Minden has also served as an entrepreneurial mentor and judge at several regional pitch events, as well as presenting on entrepreneurial topics from entrepreneurial mindset, marketing for the holidays, building WordPress websites, SEO, entrepreneurial curriculum, and several keynote addresses.
